We understand how important it is for you and your family to be involved in the care plan, to make choices and have control. Direct Homecare deliver bespoke care plans for a variety of complex conditions including acquired brain injury, neurological conditions and spinal injuries.
Complex medical conditions are significant and continuing health issues that require long-term clinical care, such as injuries, disabilities and chronic illnesses. Examples of complex medical conditions include acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis and muscular dystrophy.
Homecare for complex conditions involved clinic intervention, meaning care will be delivered by a nurse or qualified medical professional. Complex condition homecare often requires specialist support, for needs like tracheostomy care, catheter, bowel or stoma care, gastronomy care (PEG feeding) as well as invasive and non-invasive respiratory care (NIPPY, CPAP, NIV).
Our extensive experience working with people living with complex medical conditions and their families, means that we understand the unique challenges posed by the complex condition homecare. We use our knowledge and expertise to create a personalised care plan, allowing you to be involved in the planning process to create outcomes tailored to your needs. Our home carers and homecare nurses are specially trained to deliver a high standard of clinical care, whatever your individual needs may be.
By hand picking our complex condition homecare nurses, we are able to ensure our impeccable standards are met, as well as finding you the right person for you. Our tailored services cover a variety of complex medical conditions including stroke homecare, spinal cord injury homecare, muscular dystrophy homecare and acquired brain injury homecare.
Our complex condition homecare plans are designed to treat the whole individual. We work to improve confidence, to retain quality of life and to allow you to be involved in the creation of your care plan. "Direct Homecare have offered us something we didn't think was going to be possible - caring for my Mum in the comfort of her own home. The support we've been offered has been second to none and we've always felt strongly that we'd like to have input in Mum's care plan, something that Direct Homecare allows us to do.
We've been really pleased with the level of service, and having a carer at home has taken a huge weight off our minds."
